YOUR FAULT (Osobni projekt)
...serija je plakata koje se temelje na problemima u ljudskom društvu i kako oni specifično utječu na život životinja, bića koja nisu uzročnici toga problema, niti mu pridonose, ali neposredno trpe te posljedice.
Ono o čemu mi kao ljudi ne razmišljamo i ne vodimo dovoljno računa o tome, štetno djeluje na one koji nas okružuju – životinje.
Ovom su serijom ti problemi prikazani od vrlo banalnih, do puno kompleksnijih i ozbiljnih.
Bacanje žvakaćih guma po cesti, nešto što traje djelić sekunde za nas, ima dugoročne posljedice za okoliš, ne samo za tlo koje tu žvakaću ne može razgraditi, već za gladnu pticu koja će ju pokušati pojesti i zbog naše ne pažnje i nemara izgubiti život.
Bacanje smeća po cesti je jedna razina problema, no velik broj toga smeća završi u oceanu i stvara puno veće probleme, ponovno probleme za one nedužne, za one koji samo trpe. Količina smeća koju jedna osoba proizvede svakoga dana je golema.
Osim toga, tu je i problem korištenja životinja u zabavnoj industriji, masovno ubijanje slonova zbog bjelokosti, ubijanje životinja zbog krzna, sve za naš luksuz, za skupi nakit od slonovače, za skupe bunde od pravoga krzna, za našu razonodu ispred tv ekrana i zabavnih događanja poput cirkusa, lunaparka i sl.
Sve su ilustracije prikazane vrlo jasno i realističnom stilu, postavljene na pozadinu jarke, ne prirodne boje, kako bi se stvorio kontrast između prirodnog (životinja) i ne prirodnog (umjetno dobivene boje). Također ilustracije nemaju nikakvu pozadinu i izgledaju kao kolaži, kao samo nalijepljene na tu pozadinu jarke boje kojoj ne pripadaju. Ispod ilustracija nalazi se rečenica koja optužuje promatrača, YOU, velikim podcrtanim slovima. Ispod toga se nalazi rečenica koja nam treba dati prijedlog, umjesto optužbe dati kratko objašnjenje, kako popraviti, što napraviti umjesto…
Još jedan razlog zašto je taj „ti“ toliko naglašen jest kako bi se istaknula ta ljudska egocentričnost i pažnju koju žele samo za sebe. Na taj način su ove ilustracije vrlo zanimljive, jer optužuju promatrača, ali mu daju upravo ono što on želi, biti centar pažnje, biti glavna tema. Na taj način će i najveći egocentrici biti izazvani prikazanim problemom, jer se bavi upravi njima samima.
S druge strane, doista se u konačnici sve ponovno opet vraća na nas ljude, mi jesmo krivi, radimo štetu drugima, ali isto tako i sebi. Ugrožavajući okoliš i bilo koju vrstu narušavamo ekosustav i prirodnu hijerarhiju. Ako smo već toliko usredotočeni sami na sebe, i sve se vrti oko nas samih, zašto bar ne mislimo na sebe onda? Ugrožavamo sve oko sebe, vrlo sebično i ne odgovorno od nas, a smatramo se boljima od svih drugih živih bića, smatramo se najsposobnijima i najinteligentnijima, ne samo to, već se smatramo boljima i od drugih ljudi. Ako smo već toliko sposobni i jaki i napredni, zar istovremeno moramo bit i pohlepni i sebični i zli? Zar svi drugi moraju stradati zbog nas?
- Cilj je ove serije putem vrlo direktne optužbe potaknuti ljude na razmišljanje, dati im do znanja da doista jesu egocentrični, i da moramo misliti i na druge, na životinje, ali na i na prirodu oko nas i svijet u kojem živimo i kojeg dijelimo s drugima bićima. Ako želimo dobro sebi, moramo raditi dobro i za druge.

... is a series of posters that are based on the problems in human society and how they specifically affect the lives of animals, beings that are not the cause of this problem, nor contribute to it, but directly suffer from these consequences.What we as humans do not think about and do not pay enough attention to, has a detrimental effect on those around us - animals.
With this series, these problems are presented from very banal, to much more complex and serious.
Throwing chewing gum on the road, something that takes a split second for us, has long-term consequences for the environment, not only for the soil that can't break down that chewing gum, but for a hungry bird that will try to eat it and lose its life due to our carelessness.Throwing garbage on the road is one level of the problem, but a lot of that garbage ends up in the ocean and creates much bigger problems, again problems for the innocent, for those who can only suffer from it. The amount of garbage that one person produces every day is huge.In addition, there is the problem of using animals in the entertainment industry, mass killing of elephants for ivory, killing animals for fur, all for our luxury, for expensive ivory jewelry, for expensive fur coats, for our entertainment in front of TV screens and entertainment events such as circuses, amusement parks, etc.
All illustrations are presented in a very clear and realistic style, set on a background of bright, non-natural color, to create a contrast between natural (animal) and non-natural (artificially obtained color). Also the illustrations have no background and look like collages, as if just pasted on that background of bright color to which they do not belong. Below the illustrations is a sentence accusing the observer, YOU, in large underlined letters. Below that is a sentence that should give us a suggestion, instead of an accusation give a brief explanation, how to fix, what to do instead of…
Another reason why this "you" is so emphasized is to point out that human egocentrism and attention they want only for themselves. In this way, these illustrations are very interesting, because they accuse the observer, but give him exactly what he wants, to be the center of attention, to be the main topic. In that way, even the biggest egocentrics will be challenged by the presented problem, because it`s about themselves.
On the other hand, in the end, everything really comes back to us people, we are to blame, we do harm to other species, but also to ourselves. By endangering the environment and other species, we are disrupting the ecosystem and the natural hierarchy. If we are already so focused on ourselves, and everything revolves around ourselves, why don’t we at least think of ourselves then? We endanger everyone around us, very selfish and irresponsible of us, and we consider ourselves better than all other living beings, we consider ourselves the most capable and intelligent, not only that, but we consider ourselves better than other people. If we are already so capable and strong and advanced, do we have to be greedy and selfish and evil at the same time? Does everyone else have to suffer for us?
- The aim of this series is to encourage people to think through a very direct accusation, to let them know that they are truly egocentric, and that we must think of others, animals, but also the nature around us and the world we live and share with other living beings. If we want good for ourselves, we must do good for others.
